I record to inspire.

On my first production trip to Eastern Africa I had a conversation with a native Kenyan about his father, a gifted composer and guitar player. For years he wanted to make a recording of his father's music, but was never able to do so. 

"My father died with his music in his head" the man told me. 

Today, through personal cell phones, digital cameras and social media, millions of individuals have been given the power to record.

As a filmmaker, I have a desire to capture stories that motivate, spread positive influence and are accessible to all who seek them. I record to inspire.
